My Teachers
Here I must thank all of my amazing teachers for the unlimited amount of love and inspiration they have brought to my life. Some of my greatest teachers have been my children and my students.
Sydney Solis, RYT - Yoga teacher, storyteller, publisher, and more! Sydney’s Mythic Yoga courses and her personal storytelling have had a profound influence on my life. I am honored to be a part of the League of Yogic Storytellers. Storytime Yoga is a gift to all children, teens and families!
Kari Tomashik, RYT 500 - An amazing Eischens Yoga teacher, a gifted healer and inspiring teacher. Kari is in Honor, MI, and I continue to study with her whenever I can!
Lynn Shuck, E-RYT500 - My inspiring Eischens Yoga teacher, mentor, and yoga therapist. She is right here with me in Rochester Hills, MI, guiding me and inspiring me to learn and to grow. Her healing touch has helped heal many of my family members from injury and imbalance: myself, my sister, my dad, and my daughter. Lynn is a true artist in all that she does!
Frank English - My art teacher and mentor. I am so grateful to him for inspiring me to begin creating art again after so many years of neglecting my art! His art work and his teaching was my therapy during a very difficult time when I was going through knee surgery and rehabilitation. Frank’s love of the natural world, the figure, and the loving way in which he approaches his interactions with his students and with the materials he uses to create, will always be a part of me. I have learned, and continue to learn so much from him!

Jonny Kest - My first yoga teacher, he inspired not only me but my children as well on our path of yoga. I studied with Jonny and became a teacher through his Hatha Yoga Teacher training program, at Center for Yoga here in Michigan. Although my path has led me to continue my learning elsewhere, I am continually grateful to Jonny for sharing the gift of yoga with me. I thank him for all of those I have been able to touch, through his guidance and his teaching.
My children, Olena, Lina and Vlady. They are not yoga teachers, but they could be. They are my most important and influential teachers. Because of them, I must strive to be better, to be stronger, to be worthy of leading them as their parent. They have gifts beyond what most children have, and they have taught me more patience, and brought me more love, than I could have hoped for in a lifetime.
